Is the airmax 30 rated for spring powered guns?

FWIW, I have one on my Hatsan 87 and have had no issues.

I installed it on my RWS 48 and my groups went weird  so I reinstalled my old scope and it shoots normal now any ideas?

If you are positive it is the scope you should send it back. I have Airmax 30 Sf 4-12x50 and it survived on top of my D350 Magnum. They are designed for air rifles and are springer rated.
