I have never counted to see just how many shots my favorite 114 can get on a fill, so I did so this week. Left the gun in the cool garage overnight, next morning I warmed my 20 oz tank slightly in warm water and filled. I got right at 2 ounces in the gun according to my cheap scale. Not sure how accurate it is.
I turned the power adjuster screw out 1 1/2 turns from maximum and began shooting. 5 shot groups at twenty yards. Quit for the evening after 125 shots. Didn't expect to get that many. When I resumed the next day, I noticed the velocity started out a little low before coming up to speed. Don't know why that is. I got 75 more usable shots for a total of 200. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it.
My 114s don't seem to shoot as hard as some. Max seems to be just under 600 fps on full power with a light (13.43 gr) pellet. Thought some might be interested in this info.

This is the gun that I did the count with, wears a Weaver B4 on a funky, old, Crosman steel mount. Been shooting it this way 3 or 4 years.

Wow! That's alot of shooting! I have a 262 that get's around 60 shots per 12 gram cartridge. I thought that was good until now. ???

Jesus, that's a lot of shooting. How loud is that compared to a Crosman 180?

About the same on noise. I haven't shot my 114 as much but I was on full power and would guess 80 shots. Pretty awesome Terry.
