Title: jhm757 NUAH targets
Post by: jhm757 on April 21, 2016, 06:15:35 PM
Well it took half a day and a good barrel scrubbing, and then about 3:30pm when the winds died I was able to shoot two targets back to back that both qualify for the Long Range Club I believe.

I was shooting my .25 SynRod W/3-12X44 UTG @ 12X. Shooting JSB Exact King Heavies @ about 860fps.

The range photo shows a 30yd, 50yd, and 100yd targets.

Thanks Guys!!!

It was a real struggle until the winds died. Problem was the winds were constantly changing, the range faces east and the winds were varying from northwest to southwest and gusting. I have ribbons out to help read the wind, but the way they were constantly changing was frustrating.

Once the winds died it actually seemed pretty easy to get five in the black, now if I could just learn to shoot like that with the wind!!!

I have been thinking about getting a high power scope for a long time.

I am hoping that a higher power scope will tighten up my long range groups even a little more.

So I finally did it. I just ordered this:
