Anybody tried this...thanks
-
I tried that with a BSA 2x pistol scope. A pistol scope has too much eye relief and doesn't work well. There are some rifle scopes with more than 3.5" of eye relief, but they are generally expensive and may not be springer rated.
A red-dot sight works well on a QB57 because there is no eye relief constraint, and it adds to the tactical look fitting the bullpup design ;). I cannot shoot my QB57 very accurately anyway, so a red-dot makes sense from that perspective, as well.

I was thinking since I have to have a rifle scope so far back that a pistol scope would give me room forward....I have Red dots on both barrels.....and gun is very accurate at 10meters....well I have my answer..thanks

The BSA Edge 2x20 will work if you use an off-set or extension of some kind to get the front end of the scope and inch and a half or so forward of the scope rail on top of the forestock. One option would be one scope ring behind the turret slide forward till you get the eye relief you need.

You might look for a scout scope, they generally have an eye relief in the 7" zone.

To tell u the truth , I have everything I need to scout mount it...rail and pistol scopes(couple of center points)...thought I would get opinions before I broke out the tools and started swapping...my utg tactical would not stay zeroed on the gun ...many thanks for the replies..
PS..No more than I shoot it and the distances I shoot at , I could be happy with Red Dot...but I like to change up stuff.

How long have you had that scope on there or approx. how many shots using it? I thought NC Star told me that scope was not airgun (spring) rated -- maybe I'm mistaken.

A couple hundred shots or so with it on so far, The QB57 does not have a recoil that would kill this scope anyway.
