Title: Just scored a Walther levergun , cheap!
Post by: edhvhram on March 18, 2016, 08:31:44 PM
Picked up a Walther lever gun for $75.00 off craigslist  with a bunch of co2 tanks , pellets and all I think I did good. I had no idea these were wood stocks. it actually has the feel of a real lever gun. I'm impressed.

Nice rifle. I've always wanted one but didn't want to pay the premium $$, however, if I could find one at that price I would bite the bullet. Have fun!

Nice score.  You did real good on that one. Like Floyd I've always wanted one but the price always keeps me from buying. 75 bucks is a smoking deal.

Yes you did very well on that! New they are $399.00 and great shooters. I have clocked mine in the 500-600 FPS range and great accuracy. However I always have issues when using the cheaper JT tanks where trash of something blocks the gas flow.
With the recommended Walther tanks no problems.

I've been having fun with it this morning. I'm surprised at the weight of it. Ill have to pull out my 30-30 and compare. I think it weights more than my marlin. It doesn't look like it was used much at all. To be honest I never would have been interested in paying retail price either. It is very well made thou. The guy I bought it from had it on craigslist for almost 2 months with no bites. I finally had to give in and buy it. Eric

I am not a co2 fan but I would have jumped on it for that price heck there was a 2260mb last year that I missed it went so quick at $50...

But yep that's a deal even a pumper fan would go for!

My thoughts exactly. I've always thought they were really cool, but not $400+ cool. What a great score!
