I hadn't played with my lathe much all winter so yesterday I decided to have some chip makin' fun. I bought some Vibra-Tite thread locker to try instead of the blue thread locker I normally use so I thought that a steel screw with Vibra-Tite might be fun to play with. Using my modded aluminium Rekord adjusting screw which a while back I drilled and tapped it for a nylon "lock patch" through it. Worked a treat but I wanted to try something different.
I didn't have any M6x1 set screws to start with so I used a socket head screw, cut down the diameter of the head and reduced the head height, shortened the thread and then coated the threads with the Vibra-Tite. Here are a couple pics..........

I'll install the trigger group in the HW95 and test it out when I get a chance.
Think I'll also order some M6x1 set screws to play with!
