At 0545 this morning i hear that ever so lovly sound of the dingdonger going off! Pop too grab the condor and ease my way out to the porch. Slight breeze covering the sound of movement again. Its just after first light and i can see a nice pair of yotes on my back side walk. Oh yeah! Perfect shooting lane right through the tree with the grill as a shooting rest man this is shaping up. They start moving to me right up the side walk! "Come on in, old painless is waiting!" Jessy ventura from predator. Anyway. So i am paitiently waiting watching letting them come in to the spot they always stop about 10 yards out will be an almost straight down shot then it happens! They get right there and somebodys alarm went off down stares! Yotes bolt and im waiting till another day. Off work the perfect shot coming and one of the kids alarms foils it all. Lol oh well, better than having them run off wounded.

Sounds like divine intervention from the hunting gods... for some reason those yotes weren't destined to meet their demise just yet. :)
I'm sure you'll get another shot at em :)

Yeah i got 3 more days off so im sure ill get another chance. Thought it was funny how they got away this time.

You will get them next time DJ. You have a lot of coyotes in the area. There will be more opportunities.
