Title: Is there a way to detained a my springers

Can I detune my hatsan striker 1000x or my Crosman phantom? I've heard of people doing that before. I think I might need a new barrel for my phantom so I can order one from Crosman right? I've heard of vortex kits can you use them on my springers. Thanks

One way is to cut down the spring.  There are videos on Youtube on how to square off the end and polish it.  Changing spring wire size would be more of a task.  Finding the right O.D. spring and resizing spring guide.
As for the barrel its just a matter of calling Crosman.  JMO

 Yes Crosman can send you a barrel. part number for barrel is B19-2-01-100. Id just open both up polish some thing...new piston and seals around debur...grt III trigger in the phantom. washers...

Thanks I've been using my pcps and pumpers so much and I ant to hunt with my springer but there hard to shoot and kick a lot so I thought about detune ing them so they recoil less. I've shot so many pellets in the past thought my phantoms barrel that I think it's worn out its clean but don't shoot worth a nickle. Also how much is a barrel? Thanks
