Ok I was looking at the PilkGuns website today and saw something I can't get my head around. They will not sell you a Styer LP-10 Long unless you have shot a score of 555 or higher at a high level competition. They will only sell you a LP-10 Compact. This makes no sense to me. Anyone know the reason/thoughts behind this policy?

Third sentence down. Their company, their policy. They are very proud of their products and their pricing shows it. IIRC, Champions Choice had better prices.

Last I looked CC's prices were the same as Pilk. You can get around the "letter from mom" by telling them you are a "collector". The pic on their website (Pilk) shows the pistol in the box with two air cylinders. The second air cylinder is NOT included in the price but an additional $200.

I just can't wrap my head around their policy. If you are in the business of selling Air guns, why would you restrict your customer base with a policy like that. Most small businesses would love to sell a $2300 pistol to any customer. Buddy of mine at work is buying the Long version from CC instead of Pilk because of the policy.
