Title: Winchester 1100 question
Post by: Throw_far on February 18, 2016, 05:19:43 PM
Hello everyone!  I just received one of the refurbished winchesters from the Sportsmans guide and was wondering if anyone had a tutorial on how to improve the extremely long and heavy trigger pull.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the quick reply. The trigger in the rifle I have does not look like the one pictured. That may be a Turkish version. The one I have is Chinese.

You are right! Realized it after I sent the link. Sorry about that. Good luck!

Good Question.  I just received mine today and have only opened the box and taken the action from the stock.  The trigger is a weird one to me.  You might get someone to recognize it's heritage by posting a picture.

My gun was pretty rough, definitely a refurb.  The trigger guard was cracked and it looks like someone has been working on it.  There is a big screw through the wrist (from the inside) that looks out of place and maybe was added??  Just guessing.  Anyway, interested to chrony mine.  It's marked with a pentagram F!!  I wonder if it's truly a low-power version.
