Title: Air Arms listens: changes being made to the galahad
Post by: LDP on February 18, 2016, 11:30:27 AM
Looks like AA listens and responds quickly to the negative critiques of the galahad. They are going to reduce the gap between the barrel and air tube. They are also going to increase the diameter of the shroud. I guess there were complaints about the cocking lever so they are changing that also. They are also adding positive clicks to the power wheel.

That's the way it should be, it drives me crazy when companies have their head stuck so far up their a$$es that just wont listen to any constructive criticism ,....good on ya Air Arm ( that pup sure was ugly ) :) :)

I agree and its just as bad when companies release a "new" rifle or pup but its just the same thing as before with minor cosmetic changes. The original Galahad design was very ugly and hopefully these changes will make it more appealing visually. I didnt see any time frame but if they already decided to make changes and list what changes are going to take place it will probably be sent to market fairly fast. I believe AA wanted to show that the company wants to progress forward and silence the people who criticise them for not doing things other companies do. AA released a pup thats regulated and didnt just stuff a pup stock on a S510. Now hopefully the S5xx & S4xx lines will be offered with a regulator and larger shrouds.

I hope other companies follow the example and update their models with direct customer feedback in mind.
