The gun is going this week for $99.00 and if you go on line you can find another 10% off any two sale items ..This brings the price down to $89.99
For those of you who mod the QB... this is a great price !

Yes, I ran down and they were out, but honored the price so when they come in I got them.
They have this price about once a month or so, so if you live withing any distance to them this is one great price ... especially since they many time run a 10% off on sale items. Getting this gun for $89.99 plus tax is a no brainer for sure.
The possibilities with this gun are off the charts and if you are hip to the mods, it is a better way to go then a QB79 because of the extra air volume in the main tube. i will be turning one of mine into a 25 or 30 caliber...I can't decide yet, I need to weigh all the options, pellets weights and shots per 22ci tank that will be on the side of the gun, and all that stuff. I will have at least a 22 inch barrel for full power.
I like 30 cal a lot but I do want at least 20 full power shots if I can get it. I will need the outgoing to be 1500psi and that may be a little low for 30 cal, I don't know.. I will have a million questions with the power that be on this forum for sure !

Do you know if they will ship the guns out of their stores sales market areas as I live in Alabama and the closet store is in Texas. I left a email with customer support earlier but I got an automated response that it may take two days to return a answer to my question about shipping and use of the coupon.
I am really wanting a 177 caliber but for the price could modify and later swap barrels.

By the look of the bolt handle and trigger they look like the Deluxe model.
-
Then an even better deal since they have the two stage trigger.

Not sure about now, but my Deluxe 78 didn't come with a 2 stage trigger. Just a nicer stock and the 15mm barrel.

says it's the RS2 two stage gold plated trigger.

says it's the RS2 two stage gold plated trigger.
not sure that description is really accurate. It also says that it has an "automatic" safety.
Looking it the picture the gun has the original QB78 trigger housing. If it were the RS2 the safety would be in front of the trigger and inside the trigger guard, not contained within the trigger guard housing.
The RS2 trigger is held in with "pins", not really sure how they could even get that into the QB since the QB trigger screws underneath the air tube.

I was just going by the fact it said QB 78 deluxe which should have the two stage trigger but then its Chinese as well so you never know what you will get till it is in your hands.
Its like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get.

You got that, but they aren't real hard to put a pseudo 2 stage trigger in. I made one with a bolt, spring and locking nut

I figured it was not to difficult as well and believe I saw a post on here about how to do it, just got so many project going at once now it would be nice to have one less thing to have to modify.
