Title: RWS Diana 45, what do you think of this deal?
Post by: Sandaholic on February 08, 2016, 11:53:42 PM
RWS Diana 45 .177
not sure of the trigger
says he has the front and rear sights
Walnut stock no checkering
Little Bushnell 2-7x32 scope
Newer 2008 model (trigger guard looks not squared off?)

https://spokane.craigslist.org/spo/5430506194.html

$200 is his bottom dollar and it'll cost me $6 in fuel to go get it.

What do you think? Seen a scoped RWS 45 on Airguns of Arizonas site for $119. Probably a beech stock and the scope might not be as nice. No shipping either. I don't really need this 45, but it's kinda purty  ::)

You are simultaneously right and wrong :).  The 45T01 was a 34 action with a 45 style stock. I had the pleasure of owning one for a little while.

I handled the 'Crosman' 45 at AoA a few days ago. It's a porker, compared to the looks of that one. I'd get it for that, sure.

Kinda what I'm leaning towards.

Don't know how he would get the number wrong but it has been making me wonder. Almost looks like a 350 magnum. But he said 45.......

From doing some research h looks like the 45's came in a bunch of different looks.

But these stocks don't fit on a 34 correct?

So this looks a bunch better? That's actually kinda awesome! Was thinking about emailing them for pics.

The original RWS45 (leather seal, later changed to synthetic) was their answer to the 'first springer to shoot more than 800fps', the FWB124. It even looked like a 124 and this is the one that had the pin thru the stock. Later 'model 45s' were indeed 34 actions with different stocks and maybe sights.

I'd POUNCE on THAT ONE!!!

Says T01 on top? Thought it would be too late of a model to have that trigger?

From what I understand the model 45 with the round trigger guard is a model 34 in a 45 stoch. That seems a little high to me. Especially when you can get a new 34 for right at that price with a better trigger.

Not with THAT furniture! A walnut 'stock only', for a 34, is $250!

Kind of what I was thinking.
