Hey ya'll, I just ordered a RWS Diana 48 with the T06 trigger. WhileI'm not new to springers (i've had a stoeger x10 for almost 7 years now), I am new to RWS. So I was wondering if there is anything in particular that I should watch out for or any pre-shooting procedures that will insure a long life of fun shooting with this gun. 8)

Not just for Diana, but I think it is a good idea to shoot 100-200 pellets through any new springer before you mount a scope. Let things smooth out a bit and get all dieseling out of the way.

Will do,T-Higgs, I was planning on getting a scope sometime this summer anyways, but i'll definitely make sure she's settled in before i mount one. I figure i'm also gonna need to get a mount that will accommodate barrel droop as i've heard these 48s are notorious for that. Anything else I should be aware of? I did a little research but I didn't see anything typical of having to clean paint out of the barrel or recrowning, dirty internals, et cetera...

but do clean that barrel well with goo gone or something similar. Always a first to do!!! Enjoy ypur new rifle. I've heard that they are great shooters.

Check the screws to make sure they are tight.
