Title: Current Deals that set a Price/Value Standard
Post by: CO_Steve on February 03, 2016, 04:56:57 PM
It seems to me there are a few deals out there that really set the price/value mark far above the rest of the market.
I'd like to start a list and see what others can add.

1. HW 95 $300 + ship Airguns of Arizona
I can't even find a used R9 for less than $400 and then this?

2. The Hatsan refurbs at Airgun Pro Shop.
     I got a 95 Vortex before Christmas for $125.

3. RWS 34 on Amazon.
They went to about $160 at the low, currently $219 and dropping again.

more?

Any of the Hatsan Edge Vortex rifles. They're actually pretty good rifles, seriously accurate and when you can catch the sales and add a few discounts, you can usually pick one up for between $80-$90....got my .22 Vortex for $79.99 after being on sale and some discounts plus got 2 free tins of pellets and targets plus they can be made a little better with a couple simple tweaks.

AOA runs a big sale once, sometimes twice a year on each brand of airguns they carry.  This is one of those times and it's on HW.

I am really tempted to get a 95 or one of the other HW models, like I need another airgun... ::)
This is actually the biggest sale and discounts I have seen on some of the HW models in a very long time on AoA.  Can't beat those prices.
AoA is the retail business of a parent wholesale company.  So those prices are actually wholesale prices, and what a retailer would purchase them from AoA for.

Right now the best deal I can think of is the used 853 offered through the CMP.  Might be the most/best I've gotten for $100.

Still a good deal at that price.

Other good deals are the Hatsan refurbs at Field Supply (when they have them) I've bought several and they have all been in like new condition...an M95 for $79, 2 M135's for $139 and recently a new, not refurb M100X for $119 (now back to $249). Their shipping is a flat rate of $3.99 which makes the deal that much better.
