Title: buying ,selling, and buying again….The beast in me can't be tamed
Post by: militaryflip on February 02, 2016, 08:19:52 PM
I must confess I am an airgun addict but did  I go over board or is this normal? So in a two days I have sold three of my air rifle Colibri .22, Cricket .25 ,and Fx Impact 30. I had both the colibri and cricket for 18 months. On the other hand the Fx Impact just about one month. They are all in perfect working order and all very accurate so why am I selling them you ask? Well I didn't really lose a lot of money or did I? The Impact I broke even but the other two I lost $735 but if we look at in an other way it's like I rented both gun for $40 every month and those were some of the happiest months I had. So now I have all this money and it feel likes its just a never ending cycle.

Advice: Buy used and you will not lose as much money. :) Then again when you upgrade the rifles bought you will probably lose that. :( Just like aftermarket parts on a motorcycle.

lol. the addiction bites us all in different ways, some like you buy  n sell in a never ending cycle. some are hoarders. you might be surprised at some guys collections. i'm a tinker of simple crosman guns. i'm quite sure i hold the record ,by a wide margin,  for how much i spent on a crosman based co2 rifle. lol, people look at me crosseyed when i tell them how much it cost to build my sons' rifle.

be careful cuz it can consume you. i saw a thread awhile back that was a support group for us addicts. perhaps we should have a support group gate.

have fun

That sound like a good plan. I need to rethink this stuff too much money involved.

I've flipped guns as fast as two weeks. I've flipped custom folding knives in as little as 48 hours. It's an addiction!

So, where you going next ?

I decided to just get one gun right now for all around plinking and hunting thats the vulcan .25 because I am a bullpup fan. I'm waiting on edgun, kalibrgun to come out with some thing new but it might be a year or two from now. I was thinking about the flex but it's not compact enough for me. I think my best move is just to wait.
