Very weird to me but this just happened in my 10M range basement. I have shot right handed all my life. My eyesight is not what it used to be and my right eye is progressively getting worse. So I decided to try some left handed.
4 shots per target First one is right handed and the next two are left handed. It felt very uncomfortable and not natural but the results speak for themselves. These are with my XL1100 scoped off hand with no rest standing. And with crossman piranha pellets. I used my JSB heavy zero that is 1 mil holdover. These are 1 Mil holdover and 1 mil right. Maybe I'll try again some other time with better pellets but this was an eye opener to me.

Maybe your secretary left handed ? Everyone knows that southpaws are the best ;D ;D

I am left handed actually. I shoot and play pool right handed. Go figure.

I'm ambidextrous, I do things right or left handed, I have always shot Rifles left handed but I shot Pistols right handed, but I was never as accurate right handed, I switched to left handed which felt so weird but I shot more accurately, I found out that I am left eye dominate, after shooting left handed for a while you get use to it and it will become natural, just keep at it, getting use to shooting right handed guns left handed will take time too, I'm so use to right handed guns that if I had a left handed gun it would be un-natural and awkward.
Or go see the Optometrist.

Would high rings help so I could just use my left eye?

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous...
Lol, I'm right handed, shoot rifles and pool left handed, shoot archery (bow) right handed. Neither eye is dominate, for me, so shotgun shooting takes special discipline for me.

One eye will always be dominant. This has nothing to do with what hand is dominant, though they are usually the same.

So, is there a problem? Unless your gun is totally set up for shooting right-handed, you should continue to shoot lefty.
I'm in the same boat with the added problem that my right trigger finger is numb from nerve damage. I started shooting left-handed and it didn't take long at all to get used to it.

Ocular dominance-like rob said
Test to see which eye is dominant
Hold your arn out-either arm-thumb up
Sight at something -10-20 feet away with your thumb-BOTH EYES OPEN.
Close one eye-still sighted in then the OPEN eye is dominant
But if the SIGHT PICTURE-changes-your closed eye is dominant
I'm right handed left eyed-not too uncommon
I also was born without one sort of depth perception-despite having no problem catching a foot ball-but plenty of problems hitting a baseball as pitching got faster
I always shot a rifle left handed-just naturally did it despite being right handed
But just switched to right handed because of arthritic left trigger finger
It was pretty natural switch-felt a little funny at first-but being right handed-not much
Check for eye dominance

That is what I was going to say. Some people re cross eye dominant. Left handed but right eye dominant or vice versa. Thankfully I'm left handed and left eye dominant.

Here!
Right handed, left eye dominant. Shoot lefty.

I'm right handed and grew up shooting right hand. When I learned to shoot in the Army I shot right hand and was right eye dominant. I burst a vein in my right retina and right where I focused on the sights is a blank spot.
That's why I got into air rifles, to learn to shoot left hand. Then 3 years and about 50 air rifles later it's turned into an addiction.
But also I checked my eyes and about 1 1/2 years into this and now my left eye is dominant. The body will adjust.

When I was first introduced to shooting as a kid by my dad I naturally started shooting left handed. He tried to correct me since I was right handed in everything else. With a rifle I just felt better right handed and at that age my vision was just as good I'm sure in both eyes. When u gave me a pistol I shot right handed though. Even playing around with toy pistols as a kid and pretending I was Josey Wales or Blondie, big Clint Eastwood fan, I did quick draws with my right hand. As I got older I stopped shooting and got more into sports. Now that I'm back into air guns I shoot left handed with a rifle still. Only now, do I realize when I shoot a pistol right handed, I sight the crosshairs with my left eye. I heard about having a dominant eye just like a foot and hand. I didn't think I was either I thought I was one of the few with equal eye vision. Never deeply thought about it. My brain obviously just made me shoot with my dominant eye.

I suggest that if you shoot rifle left handed and pistol right handed, try shooting pistol left handed and vice versa, test your accuracy and see what happens, you might find that you shoot better with the other hand, and to be ambidextrous, just start doing things with the opposite side, I learned to throw left handed after I hurt my right arm, so now I can do things both right or left handed, I can also write left handed, but not very well.
Try it, it can't hurt.

I am a true left. Left dominant eye, hand, and foot.
As a bored farm kid, I also taught myself to shoot right handed. I can even shoot trap from either side.
It does take practice. I also have a few handguns that have grips that make them right hand only.
I have leaned to hold the gun in my right hand, but use my left eye.
Your results are really good. If you keep it up I predict you will keep getting better!!!!!
