Title: diana p5 magnum
Post by: paul brooker on March 21, 2011, 01:24:49 AM
I have a p5 magnum. I would like to install optics and a shoulder stock. Anyone have any experience with this. Does anyone know if the crosman stock for their pistol would fit or be easily adapted?
I traded for an unworking 25 cal model 48. He told me he had it repaired once but it quickly lost power again. I am going to send it to umarex unless someone can direct me.
Thanks this is my first post.

Welcome to GTA Paul!

About the stock, A 1399 custom stock from Crosman will not work. Not sure if there is custom stocks out there for those kind of pistols....

actually The Knot has a p5 with a modified (heavily) 1399 stock and a bug buster on it. i think he JBwelded a rail on the top tube and there was some severe grinding and dremelling of the stock. Not pretty (no offense chris) but it works!
best to sell it or just keep it and get a Lp8 RWS... at least you get the optic rail...
Also i saw a p5 with a custom stock on here or the other forum... it was a wire stock but i think it was a one off...

Hi Paul and welcome to the GTA forum and family.  Here's a link to the "Old GTA"....there's a homemade stock for the P5.
