Title: Best Bargain Scope of the year
Post by: O2gunz on January 22, 2016, 09:36:29 PM
At Natchez shooters supply .http://www.natchezss.com/3-9x32mm-illuminated-red-green-mil-dot.html (http://www.natchezss.com/3-9x32mm-illuminated-red-green-mil-dot.html)          I own lots of scopes up to the $600 range . I picked this scope up because most Centerpoint Scope are clear and have enough Mildots to use for  ranges of most Airguns . I've had mine on several springers and it ended up on a disco . So it will take some abuse from springers . I don't know how well it will hold up to magnum springers . But it's cheap enough to try it on anything . It's light and it's clear to most ranges . I believe paralex is set to 50 yards so it focuses down to 10-12 yards . It's not AO but once you set the fast focus ring on the back at 50 yards you can shoot at most Airgun ranges without adjusting anything . Finer focus can be done at close ranges . Mine will focus down to 8 yards . That's the closest I've tried . Finer focus will be needed past 300 yards with the fast focus ring . It a great Airgun scope that comes with dovetail rings and Caps . At $ 29.99 you can't go wrong . Yes you will have to pay shipping charges . Natchez only does free shipping a couple times a year . So check out all their other deals so you only have one shipping charge . I liked this little scope so much I bought 6 of them . Lord knows we all have plenty of Airguns that need a decent scope . I seen they have Gamo 440 refurbs at a decent price to . Be sure to check out the deals on weaver scopes also . It's the best Bargain on a 3-9 scope that you'll find

Ya , it worked out like that for me to . I got tired of messing with AO to focus for hunting and plinking . And it's so light you don't hardly know it's there compared to a lot of other scopes . And it surprised me how clear it was

Do you think it would hold up on a Gamo Whisper G2 in .22?

Yes it would be great on most springers and all nitro piston or gas Rams . I just doubt it would hold up for long on the magnum springers , l had mine for awhile on a RWS 350 and it held up ok . Then I put it on a XS46U for awhile but it's a gas ram , not much recoil with it . It held up through 5-600 shots on the Rws 350 , 1000 shots on the XS46u . Then I put it on a disco and its stayed there because I like it on the disco . But I have more coming to put back on those guns and others . These retail at Walmart for 46.82 online , in store I think they are 49.98 . But price seems to be discretion of the sporting goods managers at Walmart . I've seen them at different prices in several locations . They are a good scope but there's always a chance for a lemon in anything you buy .

Natchez also has these Dot sights at a great price $29.99. With the multi dot reticle they would be good on most Airguns . So if you are looking for something to help cover the shipping charge you might get one of these also to try . Yes they would be ok on most springers and gas Rams . PA has them both . I think pa has reviews on the dot sight . Not many people consider This Centerpoint Scope AR 3-9x32 because it is a bottom of the line scope and we all want something with all the options and more magnification. http://www.natchezss.com/3-9x32mm-illuminated-red-green-mil-dot.html (http://www.natchezss.com/3-9x32mm-illuminated-red-green-mil-dot.html)    But I've been there and tried the higher priced scopes . And I ended up loving to use this scope on my guns it's light on the gun , good optics, caps and rings included , and most of all light on the Wallet . Happy shooting guys !!!                         Natchez will do exchanges or refunds if you have a problem with one of their products , they are great to deal with ! Just save all packaging and of course you never mounted it on your gun ( wink wink ) lol . And do it within a few weeks of of purchase . Just call them if you have a problem . They do have some great deals

They won't "service" residents of Georgia...

I have the Centerpoint 3x9x32 on all my field guns. I have one currently on a Hatsan 125, had one on an Umarex Octane, and even had one on a Hatsan 135, and so far, knock on wood, I have never had an issue with any of them. They are great, dependable, light weight, decent glass scopes that have stood up to all my magnum springers.

I have that problem with Amazon and air rifles, I send them to my brother in Vermont who, as he puts it, "sends my toys" to me...lol
I never knock or bash other scope brands just because I don't own any of them. I'm always posting about my Hawkes and how good they've been for me, so in the interest of fairness, comparison and GTA members great reviews, I bought 2 of these.
Thanks for posting the link!

Nice find, thanks for posting  :D

Were all six you bought in the same condition?  How was parallax at that 10 to 12 yards?

In another thread it was stated that they are wholesale suppliers to retailers in GA, KY & TN and have an agreement to not sell retail in those states.

I have one at the moment that I've had about a year or longer. So I'll have 7 when the others arrive . I'll post when I get chance to check them all out . You might Google ( center point ar 3-9x32 scope reviews ) I'll bet there's a lot of reviews on that scope at different sites . It's been out for quite awhile now .

I see. That is unfortunate for me, but is understandable. The current verbiage felt a little like "we don't like your kind around here".

Jake

Occasionally "SERVICE" means something else-

It is a odd phrase to use-must have been writen by someone who doesn't "get out much"-
or who has a sense of humor!

I am hoping this scope will hold up to my 460-we'll see
my tiny tasco 4x20mm   has survived 30 shots

Just how to scopes "break" when exposed to springers??
The reticle gets cockeyed??

The recoil can break wire reticles, unseat elements, disconnect W & E adjustments etc.

I ordered 2 of the scopes and will try them on Hat 135's which should be the ultimate test. I've read that CP has a pretty good warranty reputation but I hope I don't need to test it.

Yes the hatsan 135 is the ultimate test , just remember the heavier the pellet in a spring gun . The more the piston will bounce and it will have more recoil . I have a Hatsan 135 And it loves JSB Kings 25 grain . I don't think I would shoot any pellets heavier than the 25 grain in a hatsan 135.  I've busted a lot of springs from shooting heavy pellets . And some scopes don't like the abuse either .  A good tuned springer will take the abuse of heavy pellets better than a gun straight from the box .. A tuned gun will have less recoil if tuned right .  Gas Rams or nitro piston will absorb the recoil of heavy pellets better than a spring gun .

Haha. I feel unlucky.

Charles, I honestly don't know what the tone of your response was, so I don't know how I should reply. Thanks for the comment though.

Jake

Sorry-meant it as a goofy joke.
It was such an odd way to say "we can't sell directly to  your location because of contractural agreements"
I'm new to this forum-and not sure of the feel of it yet.
Obviously the dumb joke-was a miss
Sorry
Charlie
PS I bought one of those scopes- $44 delivered but bought some targets also-$11 shipping good deal-glad another member posted that his even more powerful 135 didn't break one-

PPS Scope arrived-I'm impressed for $41- $11.31 shipping-pretty bright scope
It is heavy-but relative to the tiny 4x20mm tasco that is currently on it-everything would be light
It has a nice picture-even with the battery in-nice crisp target picture

Ordered one and it was a piece of junk.  Would not even come close to holding zero out of the box.  Sent it back.

Wmart and Dick's used to sell them in their stores.  The good thing about local purchases is that you can physically feel and try (play) with it, and you can take it back for exchange or refund if you have problems.  Postage gets pricey to send back items.  Print out the page and take it with you.  You may get a matching deal thru them, or a good enough deal that may help you stay local.

Mine has been on the 460 for a week
maybe 100 rounds-works fine so far.
Not light-over a pound
I didn't bother with the batteries-
kinda hate gadgets that require batteries
but it works fine without them

There's always a chance of getting a bad one . Somtimes it's broken in shipping . Or just a bad one from the factory . I've opened and installed the 6 I purchased . So far they all track and focus down to 10-12 yards . The lighted reticles all light up as they are supposed to .
