I took stock off and pin fell straight out,is this nornmal for that to happen?its way small and floats out easy.
-
No! That pin should be tight unless you compress the area.
That is the front pin for the Quattro trigger housing.
-
do I need a bigger pin or a smaller hole?thanks for the info.
-
There's 3 pins that hold the plastic housing. The front two hold the trigger housing along with the plastic housing.
All 3 should be a tight fit. Seeing as it's the front one? I'd not worry much about it to the point of sending it back.
If the stock holds it in I'd check and see if I could find a drill bit that was a bit tighter fit and put it in.
And you don't live that far from me I see!

I can turn one slightly larger and fit it to the hole.the stock holds it in place as it is.i would like to have new piston seals put in it,not sure how hard that would be...yep I in galion.i buy deer squash in Nevada.

Putting new piston seal in is pretty simple.
Get one from ARH. The stock seals are shakey at best.
I'm up in Michigan right now and just took a MOD 95 apart.
It had metal chips embedded in the seal so an ARH seal get's put in.

Who is ARH? I installed a new piston and breech seal but was suppose to sand down to size the breech seal from Australian Custom Seals. Didn't so too long and can't get out without tearing. In short, I need new breech seal and looking for a source.
That's a new pin to me. What's it do? Secondary hold for the Vortex piston end maybe? I know the gun is set up a tad different than the spring/nitro models and that screw and loose pin are certainly new to me.

I'd say the screw is the charging port for the Gas Spring.
That pin IS the front pin for the Quattro trigger housing.
