My brother wanted to make some ballistic gel but could not find any gelatin so he used lemon Jello mix. Don't know what the real stuff is like but it worked well. This was with my 350 magnum, sorry lighting was poor, my brother was holding the flashlight.
Going to try it with my Scorpion SE .22 once the gel resets. Rig up some better lighting. Sow motion after shot.

Great idea!!

Oh boy, now I need to go buy some Jello. Thanks
-
Isn't it too cold in Canada now for that? Or did you shoot it indoors?
-
Lots of fun. Indoors Tater, although frozen might look cool.
His recipe is 6 packs of Jello to 2 cups water. Takes a lot of Jello.
-
Holy cow, your barrel really cuts some serious rifling grooves into the pellet :o

Wahoowad, those are H&N Baracuda Match 4.53 head size, the 4.52's are slightly more accurate but the 4.53's are faster by about 25fps. The 4.53's fit snug in the breech and the barrel is choked also.

Cool. That's some good winter, indoor fun. Looking forward to the next tests.

And after the testing is done, dish it up with "Cool Whip"! ;D

That's what I was thinking , can't be that much lead in there.

As long as the target is a lemon and NOT the rifle. I'm guessing we will have some conclusive video soon. ;D ::)
