The BSA Scorpion pistol was used at the end of Octopussy. I remember when I was a kid in the '80s I had saved up $70(thereabouts) and had my dad order me a BSA Scorpion as it was the most powerful air pistol made. Shortly after I saw Octopussy and at the end all the Octopussy girls were shooting it out with BSA Scorpions. I thought that was cool.

So the question begs to be asked. What would the value of that pistol be? Was the seller asking too much or was he being lowballed?
Another question. Anyone else notice Chumlee had his finger on the trigger almost the whole time he handled the Walther? Just because it is air powered (or Co2 in this case) doesn't mean safe handling should go out the window.

I've seen them sold online from $350-750.
I noticed the same thing about that oaf with his finger on the trigger.

Although they are nice looking, they are not really uncommon. Due to their configuration with the spring perpendicular to the barrel they aren't a lot of fun to shoot and pretty hard to shoot accurately. I think the pawn shop owner was pretty savvy with his offer. Prices can be pretty volatile, dependent on the buyer's tolerance for hype. Many of these guns suffer from a design failure where they tend to throw the rear sight. A cruder Polish clone, the Predom-Lucznik is also available on the used market.
