I have a new qb57 that came with a 177 barrel..as typical of these barrel loosens ever so often...my problem is my 22 barrel has to have a strip of rubber (for protection of threads) and channel locks to remove it..is this something I should be worried about...many thanks

As when you put the barrels on you need to pull the breech open a little to get it tight, you need to pull it open to unscrew it also. The breech seal is resting against he back end of the barrel and that pressure against the barrel and threads makes it hard to screw and unscrew.

Agree about breech, still needs the pliers...thanks for the reply

You might check with Mike at Flying Dragon. Other than that, there is another guy but we can't mention his name here.... long story.
Anyhow....
I only have the .177 barrel for mine. I checked with the other guy a while back and he had a .22. I just never got around to grabbing it.
