Kinda new to Air guns and newer to PCP. I've seen some models with the bottle in the front. Some of them being carbon fiber bottles.
Would a model like that (carbon fiber) not be a good thing for hunting? I guess I just see the bottle in the front would get hit, or used as a rest. Could one of these bottles hold up to that? I'm not talking real ABUSE but is it possible to damage one of these easily or is this not too much of a concern.
If so are there ways to protect these bottles from damage.
Thanks! :)

I'm interested in the answer to this question also.

I'm thinking maybe I didn't explain it right.
What I'm asking is.... When you have a front bottle type Air rifle, do you need to be concerned with incidental damage during normal use? I can see things happening especially in a hunting type scenario. It seems a Carbon fiber bottle could be damaged more easily and lose structural integrity.
Is this a valid concern? Or Are these things more durable than I think.
Thanks! :)

I use these CF bottles on my guns , they are probably stronger than you think
there are leather covers and you can get neoprene covers also .
Here is a neoprene coverhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Theoben-Rapid-7-BSA-S10-R10-Daystate-Neoprene-Buddy-bottle-cover-/291629245371?var=&hash=item43e67523bb:m:m_AXXESp6mfKzJsmDHe62HA
I would think that a paintball shop would have some kind of cover also .

Thanks D-Rig, I appreciate the info. I'm sure they are tougher than I think but they're also expensive so a cover sounds just like what is needed!! :D
