Hey guys,
I am looking to build a qb79 HPA but I can't find the ninja tank, it seems to always be out of stock, the only place I found it is here http://www.ansgear.com/Ninja_Aluminum_Air_Tank_w_Pro_V2_Regulator_13_p/ninjatank-13prov2.htm (http://www.ansgear.com/Ninja_Aluminum_Air_Tank_w_Pro_V2_Regulator_13_p/ninjatank-13prov2.htm) and even though it says it has the regulator the specs say it is regulated to 850 psi and not 1100 psi which is what I am looking for.. The other vendor I found is A-R-C-H-E-R Airguns but I don't know if they are a good company to buy from.
So if anybody knows where can I get it under 90 bucks I would appreciate it a ton.

I don't know why it's so hard to find. The only other place I've gotten one is WickedSports. Their site says call for availability. Others have gotten them off eBay but I've never found it in a search.
The last several tanks I've needed, I just got the standard tank and replaced the coil spring with Bellevilles. That works better for me since I plan on adjusting the regulator set point anyway but it's more trouble than it's worth if you just need one 1100psi tank.

Perhaps post in the Ninja Gate and ask Ray who stocks them?.... If they are so hard to get, perhaps he can help....

How difficult is to replace the coil spring with bellevilles, I have some mechanical knowledge so if it's not difficult I guess I could save me some bucks, any special tools I will need?

VERY easy...JMO. ;)
Put together a test rig to measure output pressure.
I used one of these and a bleeder from a hydraulics shop. Bellevilles I got from Fastenal.

Easier if you've a large tank to fill from...lots of pumping otherwise.
Bob has a few posts around on re-ranging the Ninja reg...should be a graph or something that'll put you close enough to warrant using the test rig to verify.
Temporarily replace 1.8k disc with a 3k disc, and fill up to reg setpoint SLOWLY...if gauge on test rig goes beyond desired setpoint, stop, drain and try again.
Re-install 1.8k disc when done.

Thanks, I have a couple of questions,
1) Basically the remote will tell me the output pressure of the regulator right?
2) Where can I get a bleeder online? I don't have a lot of hydraulic shops and I am not sure they handle bleed valves.
3) Where do I get the 3k disc?

Pablo,
I've got one of these on/off valve that I put a 2.5" liquid filled gauge on. No need for a bleeder or anything else. The valve is what let's you bleed the pressure back off the tank.

I picked up a gauge similar to the below (but mine is 2.25 or 2.5" not sure which)- it's got an 1/8" fitting so it will screw right into the on/off

also - yes the gauge will tell you the output pressure. I get the 3K disc's off ebay also

Not priced under $90 but Mac1 shows he has one left in stock. I think he upgrades the orings and has a standard output of 1100 psi. I couldn't find a listing but the last time I emailed him he does have the 13ci tanks.
As Jason mentioned WickedSports sell them with the tank at 1100psi. It they are out of stock just email them for restocking updates.

Got mine at WickedSports a while back. As of 12/7/15 (Pearl Harbor Day), the web site shows in stock:

I got lucky - they're in Tampa, I'm in Tampa so I just called them up and they held one for me - they must be pretty popular. WickedSports seem to be great guys and their shop is pretty nice looking - LOTS of paintball equipment.
I use my on my QB79 - works great!
