Just bought a Hatsan Edge Vortex .22 for ~$87.00 at Airgun Depot. They were having a sale and a 10% discount coupon. Comes with a tin of Hatsan pellets and a 3x9 scope. Granted the scope is not that good, but I have heard great reports about the gun.
This gun uses the same gas piston as the 95, 1000x, the mod 85 and the 87 I think. The reason for the low price is it has a synthetic stock, a non fancy two stage trigger, and no SaS system.....but the power is the same and the gun only weighs 6.6 lbs ...a very nice carry gun... Oh ya, free shipping too : - )
If any of you have this gun I would like to hear your thoughts.

I have 2, a springer and a Vortex, both in .25. Nice rifles, shoot accurate, lightweight and compliments of the forum, there's a few tricks to make them a little better. Here's my Vortex .25 with a Hawke Sport 3-9x40 HD AO scope....

How is the trigger compared to the 95 , if it's not too bad this mite be what I'm looking for . About the only thing I don't like about the vortex 95 in the weight ,so if the trigger is decent and everything else is exactly the same ,ie fiber optic sights ,same gas piston etc. take my money, lol.

The trigger isn't a Quattro, but it's decent out of the box and there's a way with a simple screw change to make it better, should cost you about .27 cents at the hardware store and there's a thread farther down about Striker (the Edge is a Striker with a different stock) triggers to show you how.
So who you handing your money to.....lol

Airgun depot maybe

If you decide to, here's the thread about that trigger screw fix. Anything else, just post a thread, there's a few of us who own them and can help...and if it helps any, I didn't get free targets, pellets or shipping when I got both of mine....it's a great deal....
