Title: Chamber oil to be used in Hand Pumps ?

I would stay with silicone grease Manny, just so it stay's put a little better, you can find it in most any plumbing section. Don't know for sure but I'd also be shy of the chamber oil combusting under the pump's high pressure?

I just searched and talk to many about rebuilding my hill all say silicon grease only so thats what i will use thanks again nathan

Chamber oils will have some petroleum products (unless you can find an old bottle of the Beeman pure silicon oil) Use only pure silicon so you don't inject any petroleum products into the air reservoir, which can ignite under pressure  :o You can get pure silicone grease at a dive shop which I'm sure you can find on the island  ;)

Ho yeah , I have plenty silicone grease, I was just wandering if i could find a use for the chamber oil :)
