Hey i have a centerpoint 16x40 that wont sight in left or right. I can dial it in all the way one way and it wont move. It clicks and everything but just wont move the crosshairs. Any suggestions?

I'm going to assume by "won't move the crosshairs," you mean that you are unable to get your turret adjustments to get your point of impact to match your point of aim, right?
If that's definitely the case, you're still in luck.
You can reach them at 866-726-1122.
Be sure to explain in detail what's happening to see if you really have to get it fixed, or if something else is going on instead.
Your scope has a limited lifetime warranty, so you will just have to pay shipping to them once they give you an RMA.
Good luck.

yes pink, that is the case. Im goin to play with it today and see what will happen. If nothing comes out of it, Ill give them a call monday. Thanks!

Ryan, that is a great avatar. I remember my boys being that age. Wonderful times.

Thanks joe, he had to rest it on something to hold it up. He loves to shoot.

Try giving it a few gentle taps with the handle of a screwdriver or something similar. Every time that I make an adj, I give the scope a few taps. Seems to set the crosshairs and keep things moving. (in a good way). Try tapping the scope while running the turret back an forth. If that doesn't do it, then you may have a POS.

Matt,
That's a GREAT tip that I wish would be more circulated !!!!
Just give 'er a "Bump".
I sometimes think, when reading posts of folks "chasing" their POA...don't shoot enough to get those springs to move to their new settings.
GOOD POST.

I wish that was the case, but the dial was just plane screwed up. I was able to exchange the scope for another at wally world.

Oops!
Didn't know you had bought it at Wally World.
Sure makes getting a replacement easier.
Happy shooting.

I would first reset each turret to center or take the turrets from one extreme to the other and split the number of rotations. Sometimes if turrets are twisted close to minimizing or maximizing it can put the errector system in a bind and nothing will move. You will still here clicks but the errector system will not react to adjustment.
Are either turrets near being maxed out? If you max out your turret knobs it will take the tension off the spring which puts pressure on the errector system from the turret knob. If all of this tension is off the errector system it will give you an erratic pattern. The errector system will bounce around so to speak.
I you give it a few gentle taps were your scope is adjusted right know and the Point of Impact changes than it may answer that question.
