My spring compressor This is the Spring Compressor I had built using a 6" C-clamp and some scrap wood. I got the ideas from this site and other web searches. It works well, but you still need to be careful.
thanks for looking John

Stiker 1000x (.22) and Valuemax (.20) comparison Just recieved my Hatsan Striker 1000x .22 with a beautiful walnut stock. My plan was to put this stock on the Valuemax, and here are some photos to show what I found out. I'll put a post up with the details.

Webley ValueMax .20 - tear down photos Just picked this up after reading Paul post, fired two rds before tearing it down and doing the home lube. Trigger is not bad, but i'll probably take it apart once i have some time. have about 250 rds through it and will finally put a scope on it and will post the results soon. thanks for looking.

Daisy Powerline 1000S (Turkey) teardown My brother picked this up a few years ago and said it shoots really hard and accurate. I tried it out and it does shoot hard and accurate, but very rough. I tore it down and lube/tuned/deburred the trigger and the rest of the chamber. A lot nicer now. I hope he enjoys it.
thanks for looking. John

RWS model 45 (.177) Home Tune w/ Vortek PG2 This is my 2nd springer teardown and tune. The PG2 kit went in easily, the trigger lock-pins re-install was a pain- I'll be posting the details soon. Thanks for looking.

Stoeger X20s home tune photos These are photos of my first home tune attempt on one of my springers, the X20s. I followed the CDT B19 super tune and some other posts for this effort. The spring compressor I made worked but after this effort, I could see where I needed to improve it to handle the longer springs and the tension better. I'll be referring to these photos in my X20s tune write up soon.
