Ed,I too have a new TX200. The rifle shoots tight groups with AA Express 7.87 pellets and FTT's in the 4.50 head size really well. The pellet should be snug, but not tight when pushing it into the breech. If you have to press really hard with your thumb, the head size may be too big.I have used quite a few batches of JSB pellets and AA pellets. In my experience, AA have been much more consistent when it comes to head size. The JSB 8.44's always seem to be quite variable and almost always undersized. I don't even buy JSB pellets anymore. To each their own, I guess.I would recommend trying the following pellets:AA Express 7.87 H&N FTT's in 4.50mm head sizeH&N Sniper MediumsH&N Baracuda FTAA HeavyThe LW barrel has a good shot at liking some of these.Good Luck!

Did you shoot these stock, tuned, or Tony Leach? How did the Baracuda FT do? Might give those a shot. Gotta buy both head sizes....lol
Its never been "Per-Say" the gun ... but the barrel. Tx's in past years and the specs that appeared consistent on the used lothar walther barrels created the lions share of the threads read in the past 5 years or so.If the current barrels by LW are indeed being made a tad tighter, this is a GOOD THING and your data can be added for the more recent tx's

H&N FTT 4.52's have been it's typical best liked fodder. JSB 7.87's tho a lot looser fitting tend to be very good shooting as well tho exhibit a tad wider ES range.

My Prosport (with your right fitting guides via nitrocrushr) shoots loose fitting AA 8.4's the best, in my opinion, so far. I always presumed that snug is best and my snug fitting pellets I have are the brown box cp kites which aren't that bad. But like someone mentioned above, "it likes what it likes".
4.52mm 8.64 grain H&N and don’t look back..

I'm thinking you are correct. The FTT 4.52's seem to be the current best. I really wanted the new Cuda FT's to work but the FTT edged them out. Maybe they will shine when I'm able to test them out to 50.
