Thought I'd post a picture of my progress with my Browning Leverage .22 to say thanks to those here who gave me suggestions. I've done quite a bit of testing 4 different pellets in varying wind and weather conditions. The photo shows 3 rounds of JSB Exact Jumbo 14.35 grains at 23 lasered yards from sitting position with rifle supported on shooting sticks. These pellets seem to do the best in my particular gun with H&N FTTs and RWS Superdomes in a tie for 2nd best. They are worlds better than the Crosman Premiers I was using at first.
I seem to have most consistent groups if I let the rifle acclimate a bit to the outdoors before I start shooting it. I've noticed some inconsistencies when bringing it from cool airconditioned area to warm humid outside as noted in a previous post. Also haven't had further problems with scope loosening up.
I'm pretty sure it shoots better than I can, but that's a situation I'm working on rectifying.
I really like this gun and, again, my thanks to those on this great venue who have helped me out.

Great looking group. I have had similar results, except in my case the H&N FTTs 14.66 edged out the JSBs. The H&Ns also won the chrono contest with 725 fps with my gun. I love my Browning. It is very accurate and has lots of power. Great scope and smooth trigger too. A lot of rifle for the price, I especially like the fixed barrel under lever design.

In my Browning Leverage .22 Cal., the two pellets that seemed to give the smallest groups at 50 ft. were the RWS Superpoint 14.5 gr. and the RWS Hobby 11.9 gr. With the Superpoint, the muzzle velocity was 698.2 fps (median) and retained velocity at 50 ft. was 612.2 fps (median). This is based on a 25-shot reading. Standard deviation was 3.7 and 12.9, respectively. With the Hobby, the muzzle velocity was 771.8 fps (median) and the retained velocity at 50 ft. was 652.0 fps (median). The standard deviation was 2.4 and 10.7, respectively. Hope this is useful info.
