Greetings
I have a Bam-28 Xisico.177 that I believe the firing pin is badly damaged or broken
It will fire a light weight pellet but once the pellet leaves the barrel it only travels a few yards, a heavy ten grain pellet gets lodged in the barrel, any information on where I can send this rifle for repairs would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Virgil

Contact FDAR if you want an expert to work on the rifle. If you have the skills and desire to work on it yourself here is a parts diagram from FDAR
http://flyingdragonairrifles.org/PDFs/XS28M_diagram.pdf
I'm betting your main spring is broken and needs replacement. While you have the rifle apart it is a good time to check the piston seal and replace it if there is any significant wear or damage. Main springs, piston seals, and breech seals are all replaceable wear items. They will need replacement eventually. Typical life is 5000-10000 shots but that can be shorter or longer depending on many factors.
If it were my project rifle I'd order a spring, piston seal, and breech seal from FDAR and do the repairs myself... because I enjoy the work and the results. If FDAR does not have the parts in stock there are a few other places that sell equivalent parts.

It's a spring piston air rifle. It has no firing pin. It sounds from the problem description like you have a broken spring or a defective piston seal. Either will involve disassembly of the gun. Of course if you're only opening it far enough to insert a pellet it may be just that your are not cocking the gun. Mike at Flying Dragon has the parts and will do a superior job. If you choose to repair it yourself you can get enough information on this site to do that, too. The power of that gun will definitely require a spring compressor (easily built) for reassembly.

Roadworthy walked me through rebuilding my Diana m48 which is a lot more complicated than a break barrel. He also walked me through building my spring compressor which was way cheaper than buying one.
