Sounds good. That amount of reg creep is nothing so that is good. Hopefully it doesn’t work itself up from where you initially had it set at 1500. When you shoot you definitely should have a bit of a pause between shots to give that reg a chance to recover. This is especially true when new as it will get better with break in. You are definitely right about the stock. Utter junk. They probably should have just made it wood. The wood stock is actually quite nice in my opinion.
The reg was at 1750psi after shooting this am so I took an empty shot and she went down to ~1350psi, I waited a minute and then re-set the reg to as close as I could to 1500psi before the gun was aired up again.I then filled the tank to 4200psi about 2 hrs after re-setting the reg and the reg has not moved. I left the hammer tension exactly the same at 1 1/4 in from all the way out ---- We will see what happens tomorrow morning ?wll
My .22 Avenger is a first gen, and I'd had a nasty hollow sound to the stock. I stuffed abunch of packing oaper in it, and that helped a bunch. My .177 is a later gen with the baffle stack on the end cap. I went to do the same to it, and it has a Styrofoam insert in the butt.At least they are trying...Will,What are you getting for standard deviation and extreme spread with the first, fast one thrown out? That will tell you if you need to adjust your hammer spring or not. Also is your shot string close to the same from being to end, or does it rise or drop? That is another indication that you might need an adjustment.
Here are some of my chrono results on both .177 and .22 Avengers
