I have the 1358 Beeman. I cut one coil off the hammer spring. I had a lighter HS on order from AliExpress but never got it. It was lost in shipment. That made a big difference. I might reorder the lighter spring to try. It was suggested to do the B Staley mod but thought I would try spring first. I have gotten as many as 70 shots going from 2800 to 1050. I now fill to about 2400 and shoot 4 mags worth then refill.
As a matter of fact, now that you've mentioned it, I think I will get the ole 1358 out this evening and spend some time with it on the new range setup. That is if I can stand the heat.... some storms blew through and really raised the humidity level. Now they are predicting a front to come through and it's really setting up to be a nice 3 day weekend.
Sweet. And a roof for shade!I'm curious if the hammer spring screw affects noise level but not fps when adjusted in stock form. I discovered that after clipping coils, not in stock form. Taping the threads of the screw and sealing the screw hole quieted it down and boosted power even after the coil clipping made things quieter already. The darn ping is the only loud noise left.

Mine does not have that at all.
Just ran two mags over the chrony.Final pressure was 2200 psi. Since doing the mod to the hammer spring screw (taping and filling hole) a couple days ago, the air usage has gone up to 300 psi per mag.
