Today, I drug out my 'dinosaur' Diana 34 and shot spinner spoons with CPHP's. I have a couple boxes of CPLD's that have never lived up to their reputed accuracy in any of my guns. Well, since the CPLD's are the same weight, etc as the CPHP and they were handy, I tried five of the CPLD at 30 yards.Holy Mackeral, Andy! The first shot was a little low the next four are in the same hole. What will tomorrow bring, dum de dum dum....dum?
Same here on the tins versus the brown box versions. Really sad day when Crosman dropped the brown box option. There was even a Crosman 20 cal brown box pellet which, no kidding, shot right there with the JSB 20s.
Are all the decent Crossman 1250 count die marked boxes history?-Y

The CPHP'S in the tins work well from my 50S' at the spinner spoons but are definitely not target quality. Tomorrow, after mowing the yard at first light, I'll see if this afternoon's CPLD group was a fluke.
Yup, might as well just pack up that gun and send it to me.
