Swarm questions from airgunner
« on: May 14, 2022, 06:10:46 PM »
I am seeing a need to have one break barrel repeating rifle. In the Gamo lineup, we have the Swarm Gen I and Swarm Gen II.  I'm wondering how these two designs compare? Is the Gen II worth the extra $$? I have read some reviews of the Gen I, where the Swarm systems had problems fairly early on. How prevalent is this? Can the guns still be fired as a single shot should problems occur? I'm old with crappy eyesight, so a scope is a must.
I know I can watch review videos, but most are shooting brand new guns. I'm interested in long term performance and reliability. New Gen I's start at about $150. Thanks for any comments about your experiences with guns. I'm a retired old geezer so every dollar counts.

I have 2 of the gen 1 or 10x whatever, anyway, the past 2 years, no problem, flawless, have 3 friends have them, always perfect, never a problem this area, but if  it was a problem, easily replaced for around 20 bucks, or just remove it and  break barrel single shoot it

The swarm 2 is low profile so the scope mounting aint sitting up on a skyscraper tall mounts. And allows iron/ open sights ( your not stranded to a scope only gun )

The latest gen 3 if available helps fix pellet feed / deforming issues from the previous gens. So gamo claims.

Thete should be article and vids on most of this around.
