It is the poppet!
Making the poppet should be pretty straight forward. Just duplicate the face angle and diameters. Make the stem a press fit first, then turn the profile of poppet once pressed onto stem. Polish the sealing face with progressively finer grits. Up to 1000. Keep in mind though a peek poppet will give more power due to less hammer energy needed to crack open. If you want to keep the same tune, you might need a lighter hammer spring. Dave
Wow! I never thought a press-fit would be enough! Nice!Polyetheretherketone (Peek) is a widely used medical plastic so I should be able to rustle up a section large enough to make a poppet. Thanks for the help all, I will get her back up and running no matter what.
Thanks guys. I bought the gun second hand so don't expect any "factory" support. I may give Bin at The Pellet Shop a call just to see if they are available. Luckily I have some 1/2" PEEK left over from when I made a new poppet for the Hatsan BT65 trying to lower the cocking force needed. I guess I'll be doing some fabricating this week end.

You might be able to make a few bucks since you have the tools to create these. Not going to be cheap since PEEK is not cheap, but might be worth producing a few and seeing if there is a market. You'd need to do a "core" return of the original valve to get the stem, but only a slight hassle for those that need them.
Don’t forget pictures! We like our gun porn around here!Dave
As long as it works! I had some sketchy setups with my machines over the years. It’s how we learn.Glad you got it going. Dave
