careful with pallet woodsome of it is treated against insects and rot..... nasty stuff to breath if you saw/sand it
I made several jewelry boxes and cabinets for my sailboat's interior with pallet wood. Not sure what it is, but after finishing it, you can't tell it from the other teak cabinets.

2 of the boxes were given away as gifts and the boat has long been replaced with another. I will look through my computer to see if I still have pics.If memory serves me, the pallets I used were Hackberry, a very dense wood. I know I still have some small pieces in storage back in IL.
I like it. Was thinking over the winter about using pallet wood for a stock. Looking forward to the end result.
