Barrel length for a 2260 tube pistol?

I'm pondering building a bulk fed CO2 pistol with a 2260 tube. I was wondering if someone could give me the tube length and suggest the shortest stock Crosman barrel that would work. Thanks, Woody

The bare tube is 16 1/2" and about 16 7/8" with the front endcap screwed all the way in. A 14 1/2" stock Crosman barrel would extend just past the tube. That may not be long enough for an TKO or other moderator but could mount a front sight easy enough.

Thanks for the measurements. I've got a stash of barrels I put away somewhere 10 years ago. I'm pretty sure there's a 14.5 inch one in there, so I'll keep digging.

A whole back, I found a NOS .20 Sterling (Benji) barrel and built a carbine around it with a 2260 tube and the stock off a 392P minus the pump handle.
If this is what you are envisioning, I can get you measurements.

That's a neat gun. I'm just looking to bolt up a Crosman pistol using the 2260 tube and apparently a 14.5 inch barrel. I have 2 DAQ pistol carbines in .30 and .25 that don't get shot because their 2 much gun for where I live now. So I figure I'll try the form factor in .22 running CO2. I have a lot of the parts spread around, so I will have to do some digging. I build a bunch of guns based on Crosmans SSP 250 15 years ago, and I think I have a longer tube from one of those "system" guns. I think that needs a rear cocker though.

If you use a repeater breech or a breech spacer/riser, you can use a stock 10" 1322 barrel and an average length moderator would be about the same length as the tube, or a little longer. Not sure if you need/want to keep it quiet or not though.

So I went digging, and while I'm sure there is still another box of airguns and parts MIA, I did find 24" pistol carbine I had built up with a 2250B tube, a bulk fill adapter and a no sight Crosman steel breach. I think there's a "Biohazard" valve in there, which means the remains of the .50 cal SSP 250 muzzle loader are still "some where"
With that I think I will go with a 12" barrel that should be long enough for a moderator to fit with clearance for the CO2 hose on the nipple.
I was hoping to run open sights, but I've got a 1.5x pistol scope that will work. I'm a little rusty on tuning theory, but I figure a hammer spring adjuster will let me throttle down the Biohazard valve for better consistency.
