Title: A Mainer's Plumber Putty Target
Post by: FredSG on June 19, 2015, 09:06:55 AM
Hey Fellow Mainers

After a hard day at the shooting range, I return home and hand my Plumber's Putty Target to my wonderful wife and she goes right to work . . .

and gets my target all ready for the next hard day of shooting!

The base of the target is actually one of three baking pans she gave me, and of course, her 'tool of the trade' fine-point tweezers to remove the pellets.  I'm so lucky to have her ;D

I get the plumbers putty from Amazon.  It's a lot cheaper that way for me rather than traveling all the miles and looking for the putty locally!  I use about two inches of putty (actual depth) in each baking pan.  The putty stops pellets cold and I usually shoot from 20-50 yards with my Air Arms TX200, Pro Sport or S510 PCP.

That's a cool idea! Thanks for sharing. Does she shoot too?
