Steve That rifle is in excellent condition -- great airgun find. I am not a Sheridan guy but that is a beautiful rifle. The buttstock wood pattern is so perfect. You won the wood lottery as someone joked on GTA. In the case of your rifle, it is so true. Is it a .20? Do not have .20 yet. Great reason to buy another air rifle that I really need. Randy

Looks like another beauty, Steve.
A pretty nice 1974 Sheridan Blue.
I probably need therapy? I really don’t like Sheridans because everyone else likes them.

Yeah, I couldn't even imagine making that comparison. I judge every pumper I've ever owned to Sheridan standards. Sheridans set the bar for me.

I have owned several cheaper air rifles, like a 760, etc. while they functioned ok, there was no love list when I sold them. I was floored when he said that to me , too.
At the risk of being argumentative. The Benji 342 of the same vintage of the '70's was a contender."Been there, done that".
OK, I don't want to sound argumentative or like a wierdo but I can't drink ice water no matter how hot the summer day is (room temp tap water is fine for me) Ernie, I just drink tap water too, & a lot of it.
