I am looking for some field target knock down targets.
I have the Gamo squirrel and the air Venturi rat.
I thought there was someone in the US that made knock down targets.

I don’t want to have all the same targets.

Someone near here bought a bunch of the squirrel targets. He then cut out other shapes and replaced the squirrel with his home made shapes. I don't know why gamo seems to only offer the squirrel, at least that's all I ever see.
You can remove the squirrel and flip it over to have left facing or right facing squirrels.


I would go willy nilly if I had a plasma cutter!.

Yes and the rat on the run.
They are 30 dollars each so 350 bucks for ten . But then they are all the same

I should have mentioned I am only looking for Field target knock down and Stan up with a string targets.
I need to get enough for a club. So 15 targets.  That is two shots per target . Go through the corse twice and have 60 shots.
At 50 bucks a target that is 750 dollar investment.

Pyramydair.com has the air venturi Rat-on-the-run target for $22.
I don't know if you can make new shapes with these. These do not come with the reset line.
You may also want to pick up some cinder blocks or other heavy weight to use for a base. I would think that some old wheels might work well, or lumber remnants like 2x6 or 2x8.

$50 is the top of my budget for targets with tax and shipping.
Plus probable have to add a block or board.
 
I just don’t want all the targets to be the same.

 I would like to get five crowns, five rats and five squirrels.

I have one squirrel and one rat already. Just looking for verity.


I did find this BSA crow. I’ll order one and see how it is.

That crow I linked to is from New Zealand. My wife is going there is a couple months. I’ll get her to pick up one or two.
The shipping is 75 dollars. But I found three crows for 90 dollars with shipping from England. So that’s a start. I can get the squirrels and rats later.

Don't use the supplied strings. They are utter garbage. I have some winders for sale w/ exceptionally good line and they are easy to run and wind up.

I did replace my Rat line. I like how the aperture adjustment on the rat works. But I have not seen how it holds up.

I was trying to steer you to the pull line targets, and the ones I mentioned are all that style, just mixed in with the ones FT shooters do not want

I found some crows in England for seventy five bucks plus shipping. I am going to order three of that. That comes to one hundred and sixty dollars with shipping. I have a rat and squirrel. So I will buy two more of them from Amazon for thirty five each. So three hundred dollars for 9 targets. That is three or four lanes. I think for a beginning club that is a good start.

I unboxed my rat on the run target. The various size target holes are bolted to the back?  So if you miss the hole you will bend the target hole back. And I think the AAFTA rules say it has to be on the front so there are no shadows.
So I went to Ace and got a wing nut and carriage bolt. I machined off the square and presto. Now the extra hole is stored on the back.
I also used a piece of scrap to make a piece that will avoid shooting the string.

I am not clever enough to come up with this. I stole the ide from Dead eye on U Tube

I would put the wing nut on the back side.

When I first tried that it interfered with the mechanism. But that was with both of the reducers on the back. With one on front and one on the back it clears ok.
