I think you’ll like it; short is, but not Bug Buster short to give you ocular problems.A week ago, I sold a 3-12x44 to a fellow here for a little over a hundred with side wheel and rings ‘cuz I am in the crusade of using only PI, SoKor, and Japan optics. The U-MOA is thin but not overly so.Yes, only the center goes red or green. It’s a very decent scope, IMHO.
I've had that scope on my 25 armada for a long time. It's a nice scope. So much so I recently got one from Amazon warehouse for ninety dollars. I put that on my 22 brod bench gun ongoing thing lol. Got the umoa on the max and really like it Rick. And Utg has a great warranty. Not sure it's quite like vortex great but pretty good. I have had a couple scopes that I had to send in with issues. Hope you like it Mike. Keep us posted.
Big time upgrade from the bug buster.
I like the Utg scopes for the simplistic reticle they use. I have a couple different scopes that are super nice but their reticles are very target shooting oriented or like I callem "busy". And I find myself having trouble optically processing. What are you putting it on? These scopes are a touch on the heavy side.
I think that's a pretty good combo for your needs. Id sight it in at 50 and let er rip.
