Well, if you were trying to tune to 10 FPE you’d be happy. Suppose anything is possible but don’t know why you’d do that with this gun. Remarkably consistent. Will see what we have when I break it down. Considering all the little issues surprisingly accurate at 15 yards. Clovers.Steve, if I pull on the barrel shroud in front of the plastic piece, the shroud and plastic piece move a little. Probably 0.5 mm or so. Removed the set screws on MW and tried pushing then tapping back a little. No bueno. Do I just need to tap harder or is there something else to look at? Really intrigued by this gun, this is the one issue I’m not sure how to fix.
Is there an easy way to remove the little plastic shelf that sits beneath the safety button? Looks to be riveted in instead of E clips. Otherwise I’ll have to make an adapter because my Rail Lock spring compressor hits right on that shelf. Biggest issue with the Rail Lock is the lack of vertical adjustment. My front set of sled washers had a very thin silver shim beneath. Smaller diameter than the washers. Is this normal or is it something someone added? Couldn’t find an exploded view of the 56 but found one for the 54 and it’s not shown. Thanks.Chris
As an aside, why does the MW have a threaded insert?
