Thank you for your response rkr. I contacted Krale to ask if I can purchase the longer barrel for the Sniper and they said it'll take about 6months if at all possible.
Yes, it seems that way. Too bad because it's a nice big bore. I'll probably just keep it & use it to learn and experiment with. See if there's any way I can modify it for more power and accuracy. Edited to add: if I could get an AirForce Texan Lothar Walther barrel would it be possible or even worth the effort to try and somehow fabricate it to work on the Sniper-K? Think Hunter supply sells them but pretty expensive.
rkr, thank you for all the good info! I'm realizing how green I am on the tech side of airguns. I looked up the TJ Liners and again am wondering if I'm capable doing work like that without ruining my Evanix Sniper. I'm not 100% incapable... years ago I used to do component level repair on electronic gear. Doing that work I learned having the right tools and schematics are a must! However, it was the repetition that made me better at it. Since I don't have the right tools right now, I'm quite hesitant to jump on my Sniper. I have a Benji Nitro XL & a Crossman Nitro Venom. Would maybe taking the Venom apart be any good practice to get a little more confidence to go on with the Sniper? And please my apologies for all the questions and know I greatly appreciate you sharing your knowledge... if okay w/you, may I also please ask your opinion on this? https://laneregulators.com/airgun-regulation/regulators/evanix-sniper-internal-pcp-regulatorSome time ago, I was looking into internal regulators for my Sniper .45 but all the vendors I found alwaya stopped short when it came to the .45 cal airguns. So, when I found Mr. Lane providing a regulator specific for the Sniper .45 & .50! I was kind of in disbelieve! I emailed Mr Lane to make sure and he said:"I make regulator for all cal's, single, semi & fully auto airguns, so I can supply, however I need more info for what I call odd projects.I need to know the Power and best to have a Power, Shot Count, Pressure Graph as in pages 1-5 of this manual:" He attached the manual but I'm a bit embraced because I don't know how to answer him. I don't even have a chrony, which I think probably should be the first tool I should invest in? This is one of the reasons I love airgunning because it's a sport thar includes so many properties including physics, mechanics etc! I have alot to learn! Thank you again good sir! I appreciate it!
rkr, may I please ask where you are getting the longer barrel for your Sniper? Thank you! 🙏
