Turkish AirGun Gate / Hatsan Mod 100 spring and other improvements« Last post by Andyconan on Today at 11:20:57 AM »Hi guys, I am new to the forum, and to this world of AirGun in general. I recently got my hands on an old Hatsan Mod. 100, used a lot and with old and now not too performing parts. I was intending to make a few improvements, starting with a new spring, I had my eye on the HATSAN HI POWER 55 100 available in two versions, on the shopkeeper's site the MOD 100 is not specifically listed but a variety of other models such as the 100x and others that should have similar characteristics. From what little I have been able to find on my model since it seems really poorly reviewed and hard to find, the current spring should have these characteristics:
No. of total coils: 38 Outer diameter of the spring: mm 19.5 Wire diameter: mm 3 So the HATSAN HI POWER 55 100 should be compatible although I am undecided about the length. I hope you have some useful advice or better alternatives since as I said I am new. Another question, besides the spring, do you suggest changing anything else? Also I have not been able to find the exploded view of my model yet for easier and more accurate disassembly, do you know where to get it by any chance? Thank you for any answers 6
PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: Diana Stormrider Gen 3?« Last post by roj on Today at 11:13:02 AM »Thanks, Y'all. If in fact the new version did sell here for $500, (on sale from almost six), they would certainly be pricing themselves out of a very competitive, modern day affordable pcp market. Now, that price may not take into consideration tariffs and taxes and other misc. charges. Still, if one can buy the gen2 for $219 and add both regulator and barrel band for less than half, who would buy one?
So, nevermind. 7

I can see moving the setup outdoors would be a little awkward at the moment. If you can, try to tie some stuff down to a board or plate. Even hot gluing things down might help. Or a weighted Panavise, or something like that to hold things still. 9

Crosman-Benjamin Air Gun Gate / Re: Legacy 362 ?« Last post by TennX on Today at 10:30:54 AM »LOL... funny thing is that I find my self accepting this gun more and more. Started out with it being way overpriced in my opinion. When they dropped the price I complained about the plastic part and the badge. Now I'm finding myself kind of accepting the plastic.Ya know, lots of quality guns have at least some plastic parts. Lots of us buy plastic LDC/Silencers to put on them. I think the problem is that there are not many modern options out there for a good quality wood pumper these days. I have to admit, that's one nice looking hunk of wood. Then toss in the steel breech, metal trigger and the Williams peep and it becomes something to take a good look at. I could not tell u why i purchased..but @$239 …seemed like a no-brainer….your always fair and continually look at the bigger picture…good luck |
