I’m abnormally cheap. In this instance I’m trying to be even cheaper than I usually am. I’ve got three cheap springers. All in the 17 fpe range. All are good, accurate .177 cal guns. I intend to give them away to some acquaintances. Anyone of these three guns might become a well used plinking or hunting gun or they may just end up in the back of a closet somewhere.
Since the guns are give-aways I don’t want to spend a lot of money on optics but I feel all three guns deserve better sights than the cheap irons they came with. On the chance that the folks I give them to might use them seriously to hunt or pest I’d like to put decent glass on them but understandably I don’t want to spend a lot of money.
Target is under $75 and preferably under $50.
All opinions welcomed!

Bundled WITH Hatsan springers yes. Springer rated? Good luck.
CHEAP! hatsan-optima-3-9x32-rifle-scope-rings $26.99
Buy at least 2 to get above $50.
Then shipping is free and you can use coupon code WSMARCH10 for a $10 discount.

Did I mention CHEAP!
edit: CHEAP is ok for a closet queen and scope may actually survive and work fine on a 17fpe springer. IMO it would be a waste to put the NICE Hammers on a closet queen.

Nope Nope Nope... I've had springers trash 3 of them. They were bundled scopes.

These are cheap not sure how long they would last on a springer 50% off on a few of these branded scopes to pick from.

Add this mount, and it will. [url=https://www.amazon.com/MIZUGIWA-Recoil-Profile-Picatinny-Compensation/dp/B081HZJHGK/ref=sr_1_2?

I think the Winchester 2-7x32AO Mildot is $50 or so.

I should have realized. Getting three airgunners to agree about scopes is gonna be like herding cats! LOL!
The Hammers IS too much scope for this project. The Winnie’s are just about right. Especially the fixed four power Winchester’s.
I’m also looking at this as an opportunity to try out some cheaper brands that I haven’t used before so all these are good suggestions.

Yeah, you're probably right.. I did hit the upper edge of your suggested price limit. I thought maybe you could replace a few of your lessor scopes on guns you plan to keep and use those on your giveaway guns.

The Tasco Air scope is solid as long as mil dots aren’t required. I have one on a Hatsan 125 and it has held zero and is very clear. Got it from Amazon and it is a 3-9x40 AO

You're not as cheap as you think. I'd let them buy their own scopes. They may never use the rifle regardless of sighting systems. Or they may be happy enough with the irons on the gun. I'd let them figure out if they need or want a scope before I'd spend dime one.

BSA 4X32 AO $49.90 and you can get free shipping with a code usually. I own one - it's on a springer and so far it's good.

I installed 1 on my 125 but I used a knockoff ZR. We will see how it holds up.

Nice. I hope it works out in your favor. I’m ready to get another. For anything I would personally shoot with an airgun it really works.

Thanks all. Some good suggestions here.
You know Bill, I am an idiot. I never thought of putting some of my cheap Winnies on them and buying myself some better replacements. :o
I'll give that some strong consideration.

Since you mentioned the scope might go on a giveaway/loaner aka Buddy gun, I have a chance to pay it forward. I've got a Winchester 2-7XAO.

Less than 50 rounds through it and it held zero. It has cross hair reticle and I upgraded my Gamo Wildcat to a 3-9X with mil dots. I think I paid forty something that's yours for shipping from 30189.

The best AO scope I have for around 50 bucks is the Tasco 3-9x40 AO. One inch tube. Front ring AO. Adjusts down to 6-7 yards, close. Crisp down to 5 yards, if you limit maghnification to 5x or so. The only downside is no dots/hashes, but you want cheap. Rated for springers, and no complaints with the two I have.
I like all my Monstrum stuff. The prices seem to vary between cheap and middling, if you watch them for awhile.

Where did you buy the Tasco? I haven't seen an AO model offered by them.

Those Tasco air scopes are very nice for the money.
