Mystery Trigger on Beeman "Sportsman RS2 Series" #1073 - The Answer

Here's some information on the "mystery RS2 trigger", as first noted on this Forum two weeks ago...
The Shanghai Factory has made an "engineering change" (ie a normally non-customer visible modification) to the Beeman RS2/1073/Grizzly X2 model trigger assembly. I believe that guns so fitted began to arrive in the US in December, so there will be a mix of new and old trigger guns in the supply chain for - probably - several months.
My understanding is that the intent of the new trigger is to reduce the effort required to cock these dual barrel air rifles.
I've not tested this new trigger yet myself, nor do I know if there's any other way to tell which individual gun has what trigger - except by looking. But I'll post more information as it becomes available - probably after the Chinese New Year festivities have wound down.

Thank you for taking the time to respond -- I really appreciate it.
One problem with this trigger is that, since it is new/unknown, there are no instructions that I can find on how to adjust it, etc.

I purchased a RS2 last week and it looks like I may have one of these triggers as well.
