I bought this one off an auction site, someone had painted it (without disassembling it
), it would hold a little air for a few minutes, and kinda looked like it may have spent time buried under ground for awhile. I disassembled it, painted the halves, cleaned up the brass and re-sealed the valve. The pump tube was OK , but the barrel was really bad. I cleaned it as best I could, now looks like patina and will actually hold a 2-3 in. pattern, which is good because the barrel either has corrosion or someone shot rock salt out of it. I'll eventually get another barrel. It's amazing how well that plastic holds up,it's still completely in tact (plastic fantatsic
).
