Big boar skull penetration test....Videos

With this I'm NOT advocating hunting big game with small bores, I'm just testing the capability of equipment so that if certains situations arise I can make an intelligent decision backed with education.

I'm shooting the 50 FPE Rainstorm, 26gr Skencos at 20 yards

I'm using the skull of the boar I got 3 weeks ago












First video is the classic frontal shot as its feeding, the pellet break some bone at the joint with the spine on the way out and takes some wood of the board





now is the broadside shot just behind the eye, video speaks for itself

The only thing that could be said about this is the fact the bones had some time to get a bit brittle and allow for better penetration. However, I am not nit-picking at all. That is awesome power and penetration no matter how you slice it. I have been wanting a new PCP to join my Marauder. Thanks for helping me along with my shopping!

you absolutely right, nowhere near live situation, but this gun allready took 2 smaller pigs so she has some in her  ;D ;D
